Industrial Cart/Wedding Photos.

I have been extremely delinquent with posting my pictures. This is also due to the fact that I haven't done much to my home in the past month. My parents have been visiting and staying with us, so it's hard to host guests and redecorate simultaneously. Nevertheless, just before they arrived I replaced the horrible bookshelf in the living room with these two carts:

Now the furniture in the living room is definitely finished. We just have to move everything and paint the walls. Oh joy.

I moved the bookshelf to the bedroom, where my books were literally just stacked on top of each other in a staggered mess. This looks much better. And this is only temporary until we get the large square bookshelf that will take up that entire wall.

We also reorganized the bedroom so that we each have a nightstand on our side, and we put up the other flat screen TV in the bedroom instead of the family room.

To celebrate Matt's birthday, we went to the Saddle Peak Lodge restaurant in Malibu Cyn. It was divine.
Grilled Kurobuta pork porterhouse with sweet potato gnocchi,
wild boar cranberry hash, braised kale, and apple glaze

Wild Game Trio - the Chef’s sampling of three different game meats with individual accompaniments:
Ostrich, elk, and braised buffalo

 Complimentary strawberry ice cream.

Daily selection of seasonal sorbets

Caramelized pear beignets with dulce de leche crème anglaise

We also got the pork belly starter, but devoured it before we could take pictures. The chef also gave us a few complimentary amuse-bouches, which were all delicious. All in all, it was a wonderful dining experience and I would highly recommend that restaurant.

Below is a "Geek Chic" wedding we attended last month. It was an amazing ceremony and reception.

We also finally put together our wedding album and below are the pictures we chose (out of 797!) to go into the album:
